Being Cast in Harry Potter was a blast for Robert Pattinson, who plays Cedric Diggory. Unlike Katie and Stan, he had been acting for two years when he got the call. Although he wasn't a huge harry Potter fan at the beginning ("I hadn't read the books," he admits), he was thrilled to be cast. "It was so easy for me to get into that universe," he grins.
First, he got to meet the stars. He clicked with Stan, who plays Viktor ("It was an instant connection," he says) and with the twins, Fred and George Weasley, played by James and Oliver Phelps. Robert also had to learn scuba diving because Cedric, a Hufflepuff, competes along with Harry in the Triwizard Tournament. "I had never done that before," he says. "It was quite scary!" He says the most exciting part was filming the movie's secret twist. (We won't spoil it.) You'll be shocked!
